Myriam Steinberg is a writer based in Vancouver, BC. Myriam's in her forties and she's been trying to have a baby on her own for the last five years. She’s documenting her experience in a graphic novel called Catalogue Baby.

I wanted to talk to Myriam because she and I faced a similar decision after going through a breakup. We both had to ask ourselves: do I want to have a baby badly enough that I’m going to try to have one on my own?

My answer was no. But Myriam’s answer was yes. And her path to conceiving a child has been rocky, to put it mildly.

Don't miss this episode! Myriam is so beautifully open and honest about her experience, her choices, and her hopes for the future. I'll be checking back in with her in a little while to see how she's doing.
